About the Comic/Work:

A series of all-ages fantasy adventure graphic novels created by acclaimed cartoonist Scott Chantler and published by Kids Can Press. The sixth book, THE DARK ISLAND, will be published in Spring 2016.

About Artist:


Scott Chantler was born on February 9th 1972, in Deep River, Ontario, Canada and still hates the cold.

He grew up in St. Thomas, a small Ontario city best-known for having run over Jumbo the elephant with a train. At 19, he moved to Waterloo, Ontario, to attend the University of Waterloo, where he majored in Fine Arts/Film Studies. He later studied Computer Animation at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.
