Due to a ton of positive response from our 5 cent psychology episode we decided to pick back up where we left off last week. Listen in as we bare our souls. We talk about our hangups and fears and give a little advice that we hope will help those struggling with projects to get over the hump.

I was lucky enough to be able to spend some valuable face-time with the great one, Mr. Berke Breathed (pronounced breth• ed). He came out here to Santa Rosa and did a book signing and video presentation at the Charles M. Schulz museum. He’s promoting his new book, Pete & Pickles , and speaking about the end of Opus. We talked a bit about his career, merchandising Bloom County in the ’80s, and the three times he nearly lost his life. I’ll tell you all about it in this special no-guest-just-blabbin’ episode of Comics Coast To Coast.

Pab is a wonderful guest, and his lively and engaging personality makes the show go by so fast, you won't believe an hour has gone by. We discuss the mechanics of creating and maintaining a clip-art comic strip, how that came about, and Pab's other projects which include two novels and a video podcast, due out very soon. It's called the Idiot Box and it will debut on September 26th. A preview is there now, and the show's website can be found at https://www.idiotboxers.tv. Click here for a sneak preview type teaser trailer, it's hysterical!

Carlos Castellanos , creator of Baldo joins us along with with Mashup Wizard Sebastiaan Van Dijk.
Carlos Castellanos joins Brian, Justin and “Mashupman” Sebastiaan Van Dijk, on this multicultural mess of a show. It’s a really fun one, very casual and funny, and we discuss marketing your work to the internet community. Carlos is really into this, and tell us exactly what we need to know and what we need to do if we’re going to be successful. Don’t miss this one!
Oh, and of course, there be crickets.
Here are a lot of the links we discuss in this show that you’ll really want to check out.
Jim Tierney of Jet Packs and Time Machines is good enough to share his time and technical expertise with us. This show is mostly about marketing your webcomics and networking; mainly, putting up websites and the like. A real must-hear for web cartoonists thinking of putting up a website or even how to improve their existing one.
We also take a litle time to catch up with our friend Scott Metzger of Stewart the Bison , formerly of Tree, and see what he's been up to.
Ok. We have had some bumps in the road. BUT…we are set to record a new show Monday night if all goes well and you should have it as soon as I can post it.
