Andy has never been on the show before, but he is a long time CC2C listener and FrogPants fan.
About the Comic: Seaclops
It’s about a cyclopse… That lives under the sea. So, he’s Seaclops. We’ll get Andy to expand.

About Artist:

instagram: ANDY_DUGGAN_ART
is the featured artist at the upcoming Con Nooga (the Chattanooga, Tenessee all things nerd fandom convention.)
As much as I hate the old “Where do you get your ideas?” question, I have to at least ask how did you come up with the idea for Seaclopse? Joel
You mentioned in your blog one of your villains, Necropolis, was inspired by World of Warcraft.
Are you a big gamer? Joel
Do you find your gaming has a large influence on your artwork and storytelling? Joel
Without spoiling your plans, do you have back stories worked out for all of the characters we’ve seen so far? Joel
Thinking specifically of “Spine” and the un-nammed chaps at the table with Queen Crab in Chapter 2.
Cold Bones sends us back in time. How did we get there? Why are we there? Joel
Seaclopse strives towards a classic comic book look. Who in superhero comics influsences your work the most? Joel
What’s your creative process for the comic? Paper? Digital? Etc… Joel (or anyone)
This is the first (or one of the first) times I’ve seen SquareSpace used as a comic site. How is that working out for you? Joel
Signifigant ink and color improvement over a short period of time. Was it just a matter of buckling down and getting it done? Trail by fire sort of stuff. Brian
Your characters almost seem like a parody of the main stream superhero. Do you prefer the Aquaman type over the Superman type when reading comics? Brian
Movie/Tv Talk
Speaking of Aquaman. What do you think about the movie announcement? Do you think it’s time? Brian
Are we at the bottom of the barrel with Fox announcing they are bringing Archie comics to life on the small screen as a series? Brian
https://deadline.com/2014/10/archie-comics-series-riverdale-greg-berlanti-roberto-aguirre-sacasa-fox-858971/
Did you guys catch the Hulkbuster in the new Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked trailer? Brian
https://www.businessinsider.com/avengers-sequel-trailer-leak-marvel-response-2014-10
I’m getting a bit of Tick vibe. Was that one of the influences? Matt
There seems to be a bit of a shift from comedy to a more serious tone. Did things evolve that way, or is it part of the plan? Matt
What’s the ideal you’re shooting for with Seaclops; the big goal? Matt
If you could magically have any artist do a guest comic for you, who would it be? Matt

I just wanted to jump in real quick and let you guys know you have Jeff’s URL wrong. It’s “Seaclopscomics.com ” no “e”. 😉

But seriously, I enjoyed this episode. Although it’s interesting to hear about the comic industry from people who are already established in it, I really enjoy hearing from people trying to make a go at it. 😀
