About the Comic: Zombie Boy
I published my first Zombie Boy comic book in 1987, at the tail end of the black and white self-publishing comic book explosion, with subsequent issues along the years into the 90s. There’s nothing like the thrill of seeing your comic book on a real comic rack in a comic book shop! Those were heady days, and I’m really glad I was able to participate. It was a great experience.
About Artist:
Award-winning artist Mark Stokes is the creator of Zombie Boy, and co-creator of the children’s animated series, Jingaroo. The former president of the Southwest Society of Comic Creators, he has received two Telly Awards and a Bronze Omni Intermedia Award for his animation, and his work has been featured in Spike and Mike’s Festival of Animation.
