Bio, huh? O.K., well I am over 21 years of age, I enjoy exotic cheeses, rough-housing with my kids, and sitting on the toilet til my legs fall asleep. I am vegetarian, do not eat meat, but I might chomp a mollusk.
I was Born and raised in Phoenix Arizona, and became an 'artist' nevertheless. In high school I had a comic strip that appeared in the Phoenix Gazette, and another one in the Scottsdale Cornerstone newspaper. I was also a freelance illustrator for the Arizona Republic, and cartoonist for the Arizona Golf Journal magazine way back in the '80s where I had two gag panels in each issue, all golf-related. I went to Arizona State University (after I finally wised up). I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree there after switching majors 4 times and ultimately deciding on theater performance. I went to graduate school on a scholarship from Rutgers in New Jersey and received my Masters degree three years later, also in theater performance. I was an actor in New York City for several years. During that time I played Batman for 5 years at the Six Flags Batman Stunt Show, I did a few soap operas, fought with many swords, rode at Medieval Times, did a lot of Shakespeare on stage and on National tours, and I jousted on horseback for 10 years at the New York Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY.
My wife Kim and I were married on my old joust field, under a full moon in September of 1999. We left New York in 2003 and now live in the San Francisco Bay area with our two beautiful kids. I am a commercial artist/illustrator and minor liberal activist. I am also prone to doing very long bike rides for charity, and am affiliated with Best Buddies.org, the ONE organization, and The American Himalayan Foundation.
Oh yes, and I also have a little comic strip called "MythTickle" that I create and draw which brings me no money at all and actually keeps me away from my family sometimes.
But everyone should have a mistress.
