We interviewed the legendary painter and artist Greg Hildebrandt a few weeks ago and here it is. He talks about his collaboration with his beloved brother Tim and how together, the Brothers Hildebrandt created a revolution in comic and fantasy art.
Special thanks to the great Brad Ashworth for joining in on the questioning and for bringing Greg to us.

|24.136.5.xxx |2008-02-21 05:37:53 worthI've been a fan of the Brothers Hildebrandt since I picked up "The Sword of Shannara" by Terry Brooks. It was the cover that caught my eye and made me want to read the fantasy adventure.
And, of course, who could forget the Star Wars poster.

|76.111.62.xxx |2008-02-23 08:33:03 Steve Eberhardt - an inspirational interview!Wow!
What a dynamite interview. I had those Tolkien calendar pictures all over my walls in the 70's also.
It was great to hear a voice from childhood be so encouraging. Thanks guys. This will definitely have a positive influence on my work.

But what was the cryptic phone message at the end of the podcast?
Are you really thinking about hanging it up? If it's because of lack of feedback, I'm one of the guilty "quiet ones" out there who devour your show and don't adequately thank you for the great work you're doing. I feel like I'm one of the many recipients of your quest by being able to tag along on your journey as you inch towards your goal. Even if you do end the p...

|SAdministrator |2008-02-27 08:23:26 justjoustHi Casey,
That was strange, that call. Strange ending to the show. But I actually did mull about my exit a few weeks ago, I must have written it somewhere and he picked up on it.
I decided to take a few weeks off instead, and see how I felt after that. Why? Well, several reasons actually, lack of feedback is one of them, but a little farther down the list. I guess the main one would be time. It may not seem like it, but this show takes a considerable about of the already anemic spare time th...

|Registered |2008-02-27 18:07:32 Dave James - Let me clear this up...Strange call? Criptic?
The reason I called your show, asking if you were going to end the show was prompted by YOUR words posted in the Wiley Interview Part Deux.
Here are YOUR words:
Truly, of late I have been convinced that we only have a handful of loyal fans. While I love and appreciate every one of them, I've been questioning whether this show should continue, whether all of the work and effort put into it is worth it, and whether or not we are making any difference at all to people o...

|SAdministrator |2008-02-28 01:44:02 justjoustDave, don't take offense.
I started the post saying that I have considered exiting the show (see above). I just didn't remember where I had said it or posted it, it was a while ago.
Your call wasn't strange, I just said it was a strange way to end the show.
